What began as a fitness podcast slowly became host Tom J Deters' verbal journal. Through sharing his journey and all the aspects of his life that he's "gone through", get real world examples in each episode of how to shift your perspective to reflect, grow, improve and work on yourself to create the "best version of you".

Ending out 2016, Tom reflects on the past year for him: what it meant, what he learned, and what/why he continues to yearn to share & affect all those he comes into contact with. Many "moons" ago Tom met a wonderful person who at the time was CH's assistant, Monica Moon. Tom was immediately impressed with Monica although they had little interaction. After a stint in Germany Tom noticed via FB that Monica had returned to the states and took a shot on asking her to be a guest. She said yes! On today's episode of Pro You Podcast listen to an amazing woman tell a very unique story. One Tom is hoping resonates with listeners as Monica shares her story. In lieu of Michael being out of town Tom wanted to keep the "2 PYP a week" theme going as ongoing thank you to the listeners and supporters of Pro You Podcast by tjd. On today's Pro You Podcast it's another solo-pod for Tom as he shares a listener's journey that truly has affected Tom and his path. He could have easily named this episode "Melly" for whom sent in an email back in May and wasn't comfortable sharing her email with the listeners at first. Then she send updates over the past few months and she then added to the end of her last email, "Please feel free to share my story if can affect someone I'd be happy." One of many things (as you will soon discover) that makes Tom cry... and cry. Being as affected by Melly's journey as he was, Tom began recording this episode over a month ago, questioning what he was doing the entire time. But continued to believe he would upload this episode and he would know the reason when he did, and here it is. You may never have seen/heard Tom this vulnerable before and it was not easy for him, to reflect and ask 'why..?' As always thank you for listening.

It only took Michael as long as it needed to for him to gain a little self awareness and clarity. Tom could not be happier. On the 100th episode of Pro You Podcast it's another solo-pod for Tom. Tom takes a look back on his journey with the podcast and reflects on what he has learned. In a recent quote from Vin Scully, "I have needed you far more than you have needed me." This sums up exactly how Tom feels and why he is so very thankful. He is thankful that he got to do 100 episodes and that people listened, participated, and shared. Energy was created – which was Tom's initial goal. Looking back, Tom realizes how much he has learned and grown. He feels, at this point in his journey, having the podcast was a huge help in his continued healing and his own continued path of self discovery.
