A few of his clients had been experiencing the same type of feelings that were reoccurring in Tom's head. So Tom made a choice! A Pro You choice and although he didn't realize it at first, he went to find quiet. More quiet than he is accustomed to. With Tom's world being small, it is hard to imagine that he has to keep digging deeper, going deeper, to distance himself from his voice. Since Tom and Kyle were feeling about the same, Tom did not think they needed to talk about what they have already chatted about. In the past couple days Tom has had the same conversation with a few people, saying the same thing, "we all know what we need to work on" and so when we aren't, that is our problem. Hello and happy Thursday! Although Tom is healed, the best he's ever been and so thankful for all he gets to do and has, he still wants to be better. He wants to be a better version of himself. He was taught how to be hard on himself so it is very familiar. Balancing that fine line of pushing yourself patiently and with kindness is a tricky one, especially for Tom. He knows his passion lies in helping others and that's all he wants to do, but he still sees areas that need growth, areas he is not proud of and he is highly aware of how much he still has to learn. He reflects on this past year: One year ago on his birthday Tom decided to embark on a spiritual journey with no clear idea of what that meant or where that path would lead. it is one of the things Tom is most thankful for is that if one goes back to earlier episodes, one can see Tom's path, his choices and what he has always stayed consistent at. The past year has been one of the best for Tom. His clarity on his life and choices is with more conviction than he's ever known. Hello and happy Thursday! Tom hopes this finds you healthy and happy. On today's episode, Tom shares his recent experience doing a nearby hiking trail called Runyon Canyon. Tom did it twice about a year ago and had the worst shin splints of his life - he's actually never had them before! So it was not something Tom was eager to try again; his good health has been his concern, not testing himself or retesting his body. But for some reason, Tom was moved to and what he did truly impressed him, he is not easily impressed with himself - lol! Tom is about to turn 53 and he is doing things differently and experiencing quite a Pro You path due to those choices.
