What began as a fitness podcast slowly became host Tom J Deters' verbal journal. Through sharing his journey and all the aspects of his life that he's "gone through", get real world examples in each episode of how to shift your perspective to reflect, grow, improve and work on yourself to create the "best version of you".

Hello and happy Tuesday! On today's Live Experience with Kyle Clark, Sir Kyle Clark comes in ready, willing, and able! Tom is so impressed with his work ethic, his commitment, his accountability to himself, and the time and energy he has chosen to put into him simply becoming a better version of himself. That's all - lol! Tom is thankful and humbled and it has only been two weeks! The 1st Live Experience on Fb received over 170 views so Kyle's following and support is very real. Hello and happy Tuesday! Tom is over the top excited that the Pro You Podcast Live Experience returns and continues! it is one of Tom's favorite things and one of the things he is most proud of. So to have the wonderful and amazing Kyle Clark (producer of Pro You Podcast for the last 2 years and a friend of Tom's as well) as the Live Experience 3 participant is complete and total icing on the cake that is Tom and the podcast right now. Kyle is a very talented person as a comic, a comedy writer, a producer, he has a podcast, just to list a few of the hats he wears. Kyle has worked incredibly hard, and Tom is highly aware, to have gotten this far and it humbles Tom to have that type of courage displayed for him and his listeners. Hello, happy Thursday and Happy third birthday to Pro You Podcast! Tom is over the top; proud, humbled, thankful, grateful, for everything his Pro You Podcast has brought him him and taught him. As well as the best and nicest listeners, who have all inspired Tom, allowed Tom to simply be and share himself, fully and they whom have shared themselves with him as well. Finally, to not just talk the talk on a fancy-smancy podcast but truly walk the walk as well, "My only goal; once a week, every week. Done." - tjd

His spiritual journey coming up on a year, Zen turning three right before the podcast, and Tom turning fifty-three the end of March, Tom has only thing thing to say - he's gonna keep doing him and he WILL be most thankful to keep getting what he's been getting along his Pro You Path! 
 
Tom shares a little on the Florida school shooting and he pulls something out from back when Columbine happened that he can barley get through. He shares his happiness with his podcast turning three but the Yin and Yang that comes with... everything. Some dude from England also makes Tom cry today. Pretty typical episode - lol! Lastly, Tom wanted to say #thankyouthankyouthankyou to ALL the listeners! Hello and happy Thursday! On today's Pro You Podcast Tom shares some insight from one of his favorite dudes, Thich Nhat Hanh, a buddhist monk that Tom has consistently shared his words of wisdom. Mindful is one of two words (the other thankful) that Tom has said with conviction, helped him heal and become the version of himself he is today. Tom has a list of fifteen different things to do to be mindful in the work place from his boy TNH.
 
"Take the good. Walk a bit with it. Let it spread around in ya' and feel good. Then repeat." - tjd

Hello and happy Thursday! Tom hopes this finds you healthy and happy. On today's episode, Tom shares his recent experience doing a nearby hiking trail called Runyon Canyon. Tom did it twice about a year ago and had the worst shin splints of his life - he's actually never had them before! So it was not something Tom was eager to try again; his good health has been his concern, not testing himself or retesting his body. But for some reason, Tom was moved to and what he did truly impressed him, he is not easily impressed with himself - lol! Tom is about to turn 53 and he is doing things differently and experiencing quite a Pro You path due to those choices.

Hello and happy Thursday! Remembered Joy is one of Tom's favorite poems. He has shared it with anyone that has lost someone near and dear to them. It's origin is Irish but there is no known author. Tom stopped into the bank, saw his friend the bank manager and another moment happened at the bank. And yes, Tom cried. Tom also shares his view on two of the shocking stories out there right now. Tom will never forget the episode he had with Thuy, it had a true impact on Tom and his path. Post episode, Thuy sent Tom a text. Tom has not stopped thinking about an update episode with her since. But since that episode, what Thuy and her husband have endured could not have been predicted, which made for an amazing story and episode of Pro You Podcast. Tom also shares scientific study that says something he is doing is good for him (and everyone!) shocker! And finally Tom ends with what he feels is one of his truest powers, not needing anything, which only took him 52 years to discover - might be some value in that. Hello, happy Thursday, and Happy Thanksgiving! On today's episode Tom shares two tests that are now in his hindsight and he can share the lesson he has learned so many times over. Two years ago on Thanksgiving, Tom trained CH and helped a friend struggling over a phone chat. He realized he had been thankful everyday. It is the way he healed the two years prior. On this particular "day", a Thursday, (Thanksgiving) he was so very thankful to have trained one of his best clients and friends and then helped another friend feel better. He also had food, shelter, and clothing. He worked out, felt great, all in that one special day. Tom realized he didn't need special food, around a special table, with certain people. He knew he could be alone. He also knew most people were being or trying to be, thankful on that one day out of the year. Tom knew in his heart how thankful he had been everyday of the past two years. The next day he decided to start the podcast. In March of the next year PYP began. Once again, Tom was ever so thankful. So Tom wanted to shout out a special THANK YOU to all the listeners for their support, their time, and their energy. "Tom gets to do what he loves!" Enjoy and as always thanks for listening!

Hello and happy Thursday! On today's episode of Pro You Podcast Tom shares his sadness and his anger with the recent events involving (#metoo) all the female victims of sexual harassment, assault, or worse and the men who do whatever they want because they can and how much pain and suffering those actions cause. Tom shares his personal experience with women who have been assaulted and how the pain, suffering, and length of it all has taken it's toll. Tom has always been Pro-Women and that's why he used to teach self defense for women, karate for kids - to fight back, defend oneself from bullies of all types! Yes, Tom has a very definitive opinion on Horrible Harvey and men like him. Tom's wish is that any victim of any type of violence from any type of bully OWNS the truth that it is NOT: their fault, NOT a negative thing they should be embarrassed about, NOT anything that haunts them for years, decades out of fear of not sharing or getting help, or WHEN they do share it, it does NOT affect their career. Bad people do bad things to good people. It is not about you, the victim, it's NOT your fault. Envision Tom crying right now. Yeah, it's very real to Tom. Enjoy and as always thanks for listening!

Hello and happy Thursday! On today's episode of Pro You Podcast, Tom continues to share his experience from Saturday morning September 9th 2017. That would make this the third episode where Tom speaks about Zen and his accident - obviously it has had (and still has) an affect on Tom's thoughts, words, and path. The meet and greet happens at the animal shelter in Castaic and Tom has a metaphor come to him on the drive that reiterates one of the principles Tom has been following: focus on that which you can control. Tom's conviction is at an all time high and he is ever so thankful to "still" be doing what he gets to do! Enjoy and as always thanks for listening!
